Class structure and timing
This hands-on certification runs for 150 MINUTES and guides you through a full facial protocol from setup to finish. The session mixes instructor demonstrations, mannequin practice, and supervised work on a provided live model. A midday break and lunch are included so the training remains focused and practical throughout the scheduled time.
Training sessions follow the standard service flow so you learn an end-to-end appointment: consultation and cleansing, exfoliation, mask application, toning and moisturizing, plus supervised tool use. The sequence is taught as a reproducible service model so you can practice the same steps reliably on mannequins and on a live model under instructor observation.
Techniques and hands-on skills
Instruction covers product steps (cleanser, exfoliation, mask application, toner, moisturizer) alongside proper tool usage and skin theory education. Rather than prescribing specific branded ingredients, the course explains how skin type and condition shape product and technique choices, giving you the framework to make informed decisions during real appointments.
You’ll watch live demonstrations and then practice those techniques on a mannequin and on the provided model with instructor feedback. This practical repetition, combined with demonstrated methods, is designed to build tactile skill and appointment flow so you can perform a complete facial confidently and professionally.
Business skills and local context
The course includes marketing tips and guidance to help you position facial services in a local market. Sessions highlight practical business considerations—how to present services, book appointments, and discuss skincare with clients—so you leave with both service skills and ideas for attracting local customers.
Held in downtown Marietta near the Marietta Square and Atlanta Street corridor, the training is accessible from Interstate 75 and Marietta Parkway for students coming from Smyrna, Vinings, Kennesaw and surrounding areas. Scheduling can accommodate common local routines like commutes and school drop-offs, and timing considers busiest upskilling months such as January, February, and September.
