How the shading technique works
Ombré eyebrows use a gradual shading approach that creates a soft, makeup-filled appearance with a transition from lighter at the front to darker at the tail. The result depends on your natural brow hair, skin undertone, and the pigment depth chosen with your artist; those choices define how subtle or defined the finished look appears.
Because ombré is a semi-permanent shading treatment, the artist focuses on color layering and placement rather than individual hair strokes. The technique builds density and a polished finish, offering a fuller-looking brow without daily makeup. Outcome varies by client factors, so your artist will balance pigment density with a natural-looking gradient during mapping.
What happens during your appointment
Expect a focused session where we map your brow shape, agree on tone and gradient, and apply the shading. The service is scheduled for 90 MINUTES and is priced at $300. Mapping and discussion take time because we tailor the ombré effect to facial features and your preferred daily look before any pigment is applied.
Our Marietta location near the Square makes it convenient to schedule around commutes or downtown plans. Clients often appreciate the salon’s relaxed environment and flexibility. After the initial session the artist will explain healing and any recommended follow-up so you leave with a clear plan for color retention and maintenance.
Longevity and seasonal timing
Ombré brows last significantly longer than daily makeup but are semi-permanent, so color fades gradually with skin exfoliation, sun exposure, and individual skin chemistry. Touch-ups are available to refresh pigment and maintain the gradient; the salon offers an Ombré Touch Up service to help retain color over time and preserve the polished finish.
Demand rises in May, June, November, and December when clients want low-maintenance, waterproof-looking brows for vacations and year-end events. Marietta’s humid summers and seasonal storms can affect initial healing and retention, so scheduling and aftercare plans take local climate into account to help achieve consistent results.
